Hike the Highland Bowl and finish the day at Cloud Nine's legendary après-ski
Skin up to breakfast at Bonnie's on Ajax or Cliffhouse on Buttermilk
Cross country ski from the Ashcroft ghost town to Pine Creek Cookhouse
Insider tip: If you don't make it out the door before the lifts start running, you can always skin up the backside of Aspen Mountain from Midnight Mine Road or Little Annie Road.


Where to dine
For a small ski town, Aspen's culinary scene is one that easily rivals any major city thanks to the influx of talented chefs and demanding palettes. Although there are countless great options, no trip to Aspen would be complete without our top three.

Where to après
Unwinding after a long day on the hill is best done at one of Aspen’s legendary après-ski destinations. Whether you’re after a casual beer, a champagne shower or an afternoon with some of the world’s best DJs, Aspen has you covered.
Insider tip: Getting a reservation for Cloud Nine’s coveted 2 o’clock seating can be tricky during peak season, so we recommend booking as early as possible. And be sure to bring sunglasses to protect your eyes from the onslaught of champagne.
