A new way to experience performance

Varsity Sport marks the introduction of our first dedicated performance category – designed to bring our approach to craftsmanship, fit and materiality into a new context.

For years, our caps have been worn across a range of environments – from city streets to mountain trails. This collection builds on that natural evolution, creating pieces specifically engineered for movement, conditions and intensity.

Defined by three levels – Low, Mid and High – Varsity Sport is designed to meet different ways of moving, without compromising the understated design language that defines the brand.

What makes it different?

Each cap in the Sport collection is developed with a clear use case in mind, not as a one-size-fits-all solution, but as a system designed around performance.

From waterproof construction to breathable ventilation and ultralight materials, every detail is considered to support how the cap is worn and where it is taken. This is not a departure from our signature Varsity caps, but an extension of it.

Materials

Each cap is constructed using technical fabrics selected for their specific performance properties – from waterproof membranes to breathable weaves and ultralight compositions. Every material is intentionally chosen to suit the intensity of the cap.

The Fit

Signature Varsity elements remain – refined fit and considered proportions – adapted for movement and performance. Each Sport cap features a softer brim than our original styles, designed to enhance comfort while reducing overall weight.

Sweatband

The sweatband has been developed to absorb and move moisture away from the head, while remaining antibacterial and odor-resistant for all-day wear.

The Logo

The subtle detailing of our caps remains, with considered updates for performance. The VH insignia is reimagined as a lightweight silicone logo, designed to sit seamlessly within the cap.

The Strap

At the back, each cap features an updated strap system. Low and Mid Intensity styles are designed for ease of adjustment with reduced weight, while the High Intensity cap introduces an elastic strap system – allowing for quick adjustment in motion and a lighter, more comfortable fit during high-output activity.

High Intensity (HI)

Our most technical cap, designed to perform during high-output activity. Built for intensity, where breathability and weight matter most. Designed for but not limited to: running, gym sessions, tennis and other racquet sports

Mid Intensity (MID)

Designed to balance protection and breathability. From the country club to mountain hikes in the summer, it supports everyday movement with considered performance. Designed for but not limited to: golf, tennis, hiking, training and gym sessions

Low Intensity (LO)

Designed to keep you dry when it matters most. Ideal for unpredictable environments, from coastal conditions to mountain weather. Designed for but not limited to: hiking or walking, sailing and golf

There are places that sharpen everything – light, sound, memory. St. Moritz in winter is one of them. Each February, Lake St. Moritz becomes a temporary stage for The I.C.E., where some of the rarest cars in the world race across the frozen surface. Finnish photographer and friend of the brand, Joel Hyppönen, has been returning for three years now. We asked him to take us along, cap and camera in hand.
