Terms & conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all sales of goods and services from this website to consumers. Varsity Headwear (“V.H.”) is a brand name owned by the Norwegian company Fiftytwo AS. The sales terms and conditions, together with your order and order confirmation, comprise the entire agreement for the purchase.
Payment and Insurance
All of your personal information and payment details will be securely handled at all times by our payment partners. The order amount will be authorized from your account as soon as your order has been placed. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible before we ship your order, and we will release funds to your account.
Payments are captured when we ship your order.
Delivery
We dispatch your order as swiftly as possible, normally within the next working day from our warehouse in Oslo. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price applicable to your order is the one published at the time of purchase.
Owners Club Free Delivery
We offer free delivery for our Owners Club members. In order to be granted this free shipping option, you must be logged into your account when placing your order. Becoming an Owners Club member post-purchase does not give any rights to claim a credit/refund for a shipping fee on an already placed order.
Norway
We send your cap using Bring, which means your cap will arrive at your local delivery point 1-5 days after it is sent from us. A delivery notification will be sent via SMS and/or email when your package is ready to be collected. Kindly note that delivery to rural addresses can result in longer delivery times.
United States
All orders to the United States are shipped with UPS, with an estimated delivery time of approximately 4-7 days. Please be ready for an SMS/text message or email from UPS to organize your delivery.
Europe & Rest of World
For delivery to Europe and rest of world, orders are shipped with DHL or UPS, which normally takes 1-3 days to reach you from dispatch. Please be ready for an SMS/Text message or email from DHL or UPS to organize the delivery.
Please Note: By default, UPS delivers to the shipping address you provide at checkout. Once your tracking number is received, you can always change your delivery settings via the UPS website or app. We recommend changing to a UPS pickup point during peak shopping seasons to ensure your package arrives on time.
Prices, Taxes, and Duties
All orders are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that local tax (VAT) and customs duties are included in the price.
Note for U.S. Customers: Despite changes to U.S. import policies, all applicable taxes and duties are already included in our prices. You won’t be charged anything extra when your order arrives.
Important Information Regarding Delivery
Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. We are unable to deliver to post office boxes.
Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation e-mail as soon as we have confirmed your order. This may take a few minutes. Please read this carefully and check that the order confirmation agrees with your order.
If you do not receive the confirmation email, please contact hello@varsityheadwear.com, so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.
You will receive an additional email as soon as your items are shipped including a tracking number.
Information Provided on Our Website
We do our best to give our customers the most correct information possible on our website about our products. However, we reserve the right against errors which may arise and which may result in our inability to deliver in accordance with the information given at varsityheadwear.com, in our marketing, or in any other way. We reserve the right to withdraw products from our website, change the website and its contents.
Delivery, Delay, and Insurance
V.H. insures each purchase during time in transit until it is delivered to you or picked up from a local pickup point. We retain the risk for the products during this time. If delivery is delayed, you will be informed as soon as we are aware of the situation. Depending on the circumstance and length of delay, you may be entitled to cancel the agreement.
Inspection and Defective Products (Complaints)
Once you have received the products, you should check that the delivery is in accordance with the order confirmation and check for any damages or defects.
Under applicable consumer law, you must notify us of a defect within a reasonable time after you discover it. While we request notification within 48 hours for swift processing, your statutory rights to claim for defects remain protected under local consumer acts (e.g., forbrukerkjøpsloven).
If the products have defects, you may require a refund or cancellation of the agreement. Please report defects in writing to hello@varsityheadwear.com with your order number.
Color
V.H. aims to describe the products on varsityhedwear.com as correctly as possible. However, kindly note that computer color settings may differ, which may cause the images of the caps to show colors that may differ from their actual colors. V.H. will not be held responsible for any such discrepancy.
Returns and Exchange (Right of Withdrawal)
In accordance with the Norwegian cancellation act (angrerettloven), you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from this agreement. Varsity Headwear extends this policy to 30 days (60 days for Ownerrs Club members) from the moment of purchase.
Returns are only valid for unused caps in perfect condition with labels attached. We recommend using the original packaging
Returns - Non-Refundable Shipping Costs
Shipping costs that are specified on the order confirmation as “Shipping” are non-refundable should the customer wish to return and refund the order. Shipping costs will be deducted from the returned order amount.
NOTE: Varsity Vault products are not eligible for free returns, but we make it easy. Return shipping costs will be deducted from your order refund.
Returns from Norway: 99 NOK
Returns from Europe: 15 EUR
Returns from UK: 14 GBP
Rest of World: 16 USD
Non-Refundable/Returnable Items
Personalized/customized items, such as engraved badges or caps with a patch, are non-refundable. The cap bought together with the engraved badge can be returned or exchanged as normal.
Varsity Headwear Stores
Exchange: We offer a 30-day exchange period. You must bring a valid proof of purchase, the item must be unused, in perfect condition, and with the label attached. You may exchange your product(s) in all of our Varsity Headwear stores.
Return: We offer a 3-day return & refund policy on all products bought in any of our physical retail stores. You must bring a valid proof of purchase, the item must be unused, in perfect condition, and with the label attached. The cap must be returned to the same store where it was purchased. If you have purchased your product at a temporary pop-up store and it has since closed down, the product(s) may be returned to one of our stores within the same 3-day policy. Note that refunds may take up to 7 working days.
Our Retail Partners in Norway
You may purchase your Varsity Headwear product from one of our wholesale partners in Norway. Please note that each store carries its own exchange and return policies. We do not offer returns and refunds on products purchased from our wholesale partners. However, you may exchange the product in any of our Varsity Headwear stores within 30 days of purchase. You must bring a valid proof of purchase from the wholesale partner, the item must be unused, in perfect condition and with the label attached.

You may purchase your Varsity Headwear product from one of our wholesale partners in many locations around the world. Please note that each store carries its own exchange and return policies. Delivery Information Accuracy and Responsibility
Customers ordering from our website are responsible for supplying us with the correct information about identity, names, addresses, and relevant information in order for us to deliver the order and complete the sale. Extra costs, responsibilities, or issues that arise as a result of misspellings, missing information, or faulty or incorrect information will be billed to the customer.
Liability and Force Majeure
**Fiftytwo AS shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our maximum liability to you for any loss arising in connection with your order shall be limited to the total price of that order.
Varsity Headwear is not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, or global infrastructure failures (Force Majeure).**

Ownership of Rights
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyrights at varsityheadwear.com, remain with Fiftytwo AS and its subsidiaries or licensors. Any use of varsityheadwear.com or its contents, including copying or storing such content in whole or in part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Fiftytwo AS.
Law and Dispute Resolution
Consumer purchases are governed by the current local applicable law of Fiftytwo AS or one of its affiliated companies through which the order is processed. This is visible at the bottom of the website you are ordering from. You must be 18 years of age to shop at varsityheadwear.com
If A dispute cannot be settled between us, you may contact the Norwegian consumer authority (forbrukertilsynet) or use the European Commission´s online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
