Data privacy is of high importance for Varsity Headwear and we want to be open and transparent with our processing of your personal data. We therefore have a policy for how your personal data will be processed and protected.

Who is the controller of your personal data?

Where do we store your data?

The data that we collect from you is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside of the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable laws.

For transfers outside the EEA, V.H. will use Standard Contractual Clauses and Shields as safeguards for countries without adequacy decisions from the European Commission.

Who can access your data?

Your data may be shared within the V.H. organisation (Fiftytwo AS (Norway), VH International AS (Norway), VH International SARL (France) and Varsity Headwear GmbH (Germany)). We never sell or swap your data to third parties outside the V.H. organisation.

The local V.H. company will only act as the personal data processor and processes the personal data on behalf of the Norwegian mother company. Data that is forwarded to third parties, is only used to provide you with our services.

What is the legal ground for processing?

V.H. is not allowed to collect, process, use, store etc. personal data without a valid legal ground. Lawfulness may be derived from your consent, by contract (Such as an online order) statutory obligations or from our legitimate interest as a business. For each specific purpose of processing of personal data, we will inform you about which legal ground that will apply, what rights you are entitled to exercise, whether the provision of personal data is statutory or required to enter a contract and whether it is an obligation to provide the personal data and possible consequences if you choose not to.
