Behind the Wheel with Anthony Richelot

This autumn, we tapped friend of the brand, Anthony Richelot, to photograph our latest cap shape — Cruz Soft. Originally from Paris, Anthony has spent the last couple of years in Switzerland where he can be found in motion, on two wheels and four. With a diverse skillset that goes well-beyond his background in architecture, Anthony’s many projects seamlessly blend his passions, from cycling to Porsches. Read more below as we get his perspective on everything from creativity to vehicles.

Whether you're on a countryside drive in your Porsche or cycling through the mountains of Switzerland, you're always on the move. How did your love for movement - on the bike and behind the wheel - develop?

Movement has always been part of me. Cycling taught me discipline and freedom; cars sparked my imagination and passion for design and performance. Together, they shaped how I experience the world.

What feels most freeing about each form of movement, cycling and driving?

On the bike, it’s the simplicity, effort, rhythm, and introspection. Behind the wheel of a Porsche, it’s a rush of senses: sound, vibration, and raw emotion.

Tell us more about the newest Porsche addition, Joséphine.

She’s a 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo (930), bold, timeless, and full of character. More than a car, Joséphine feels like meeting a soul you were always meant to cross paths with.

You have a range of many passions and talents - sketching, cycling, photography, creative direction, family - just to name a few. What guides how you spend your time?

Instinct. I follow what feels true. Each passion: cycling, sketching, photography, family, feeds the others and keeps me balanced.

Many people dream of what you do. What adventures or experiences do you still find yourself dreaming about?

Crossing countries on two wheels and four, building a Porsche Safari for off-road escapes, rallying with my wife, and weaving my creative worlds even tighter together. I also dream of creating a “third place”,  a physical space where people who share my passions can connect, exchange, and live these experiences together.

What car do you dream of owning one day? What bike?

A Porsche 930 Turbo. And the ultimate dream: a grey Mercedes 300 SL with a red interior. For bikes, a custom-built piece of craftsmanship, half machine, half artwork.

If you could relive one memory with a car, what would it be?

The next one I’ll create.
