Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply for all sales of goods and services from www.varsityheadwear.com to consumers. Varsity Headwear (“V.H.”) is a brand name owned by the Norwegian company Fiftytwo AS. The sales terms and conditions, together with your order and order confirmation, comprise the entire agreement for the purchase.
Payment & Insurance
All of your personal information and payment details will be securely handled at all times by our payment partners Dibs, Paypal and VIPPS. The order amount will be captured from your account as soon as your order has been placed. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible before we ship your order and we will issue a refund back to your account.
The following payments are accepted:
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Visa and Mastercard are verified by a secure code. Payment is debited from your card once you place the order.
You can choose to pay with credit card or your already registered PayPal account.
For Norwegian customers based in Norway only. You must be a registered VIPPS user in order to use this payment method.
We dispatch your order as swiftly as possible, but normally within the next working day.
NORWAY & SWEDEN:
We send your cap using Bring Servicepakke/Schenker/Postnord, which means your cap will arrive at your local delivery point 2-5 days after it is sent from us. A delivery notification will be sent via sms and/or email when your package is ready to be collected. Kindly note that delivery to rural addresses can result in longer delivery times.
Europe and EU
For European orders we use DHL Express Delivery, which normally takes 1-3 days to reach you from dispatch. We send the order directly to your door, so please be ready for a SMS from DHL to organise a delivery time.
All international orders are shipped using DHL Express from Norway. Depending on where you live in the world this from of shipping will take from 1-5 days. Remember that duties and taxes may apply for international orders.
TAXES AND DUTIES:
All orders to Norway and the EU are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that local tax (MVA/VAT) and custom duties are included in the price. For international orders taxes and duties may apply when receiving your order, please check with your local authorities to check the rules and also the costs involved in importing your order.
For international orders our courier service might demand that you accept these taxes and import duties on delivery. If you do not accept these charges the package will not be released to you, then your order will automatically be returned to us after a while. The cost for this return shipment is at the customers expense.
Important information regarding delivery.
Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. We are unable to deliver to post office boxes.
You will receive an order confirmation e-mail as soon as we have confirmed your order. This may take a few minutes.
Please read this carefully and check that the order confirmation agrees with your order. Please keep it in a safe place as we may ask you for information from it in any correspondence. If you do not receive this email please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully. You will receive an additional e-mail as soon as your items are shipped with a tracking number from our shipping partner Webshipr.
Information Provided by our Website
We do our best to give our customers the most correct information on our web site and about our products as possible. However, we reserve our rights against errors which may arise and which may result in our inability to deliver in accordance with the information given at varsityheadwear.com, in our marketing or in any other way. We reserve our rights to withdraw products from our web site, change the web site and its contents.
Delivery, Delay and Insurance
V.H. insures each purchase during time in transit until it is delivered to you or you pick up the order from your local pickup point.
We retain the risk for the products during this time. If delivery of the products is delayed, you will be informed as soon as we are aware of the situation, and advised as to whether delivery can be made and when, or whether the product(s) are sold out. Depending on the type of product and the length of the delay, you may according to the circumstance cancel the agreement.
Inspection of the Products
Once you have received the products, you should, as soon as you can, check that the delivery is in accordance with the order confirmation, if the products have been damaged under transportation or if the products otherwise have any defects or missing parts.
V.H. aims to describe the products at varsityhedwear.com as correctly as possible. However, kindly note that computer color settings may differ, which may cause the images of the caps to show colors that may differ from their actual colors. V.H. will not be held responsible for any such discrepancy.
If the products have defects or items are missing you may according to the circumstances require; a re-delivery, a refund or that the agreement be cancelled. The defect must have existed when the products came into your possession. You may report to us defects in the products in writing. You have nevertheless two weeks claim deadline. This claim can be made to email@example.com, please include you order reference number in the subject line. We will confirm the receipt of all claims in writing. We will also confirm the receipt of all goods returned to us, in writing.
Returns & Exchange
We are continuously working to make sure we produce and sell the highest quality hats on the market. However, sometimes an imperfect product slips through our system. If you experience quality issues with your cap we are happy to repair your cap or in some cases exchange it for a new one. Please understand that this does not include issues or faults that are the result of external forces (man-made damages) and/or poor care of your hat.
If you receive your cap and find it’s faulty or not the one you ordered then please let us know within 48 hours of receiving the package. We will need you to send us a photograph and explanation of the fault in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. This way we can identify the problem, and take the necessary steps to correct the problem as soon as possible. Once we have received your email we will reply within 24 hours with instructions of what to do next.
Caps can be returned within the first 14 days from the cap was received as long as it has not been used and is in impeccable condition. Please read the guidelines for returns from your area in detail. If you don’t follow the guidelines for your region, extra costs may occur when returning to the wrong warehouse or country. Shipping of orders is a costly activity, so as a small start-up company we unfortunately cannot offer this service for free.
Any cap returned to us will need to be posted back in its original box, taped securely and sent to: Fiftytwo AS, Postboks 5065, Majorstuen, 0301 Oslo, Norway. Please send your package from your local Post Office and make sure you obtain a “Certificate of Posting” form and retain as proof of postage. We cannot be held responsible for any items that fail to reach us. We will email you once your return is received and process your request as soon as possible.

All other countries:
Please follow the instructions included in your package on how to return to our warehouse in Norway. You need to contact us to receive a return slip from us. Due to strict regulations and possible taxes on returns to Norway it is critical that you follow in detail the return instructions. If not importation penalties may occur from Norwegian customs. These can not reversed, in such cases the costs will have to be deducted from you refund.
We accept exchanges within the first 14 days after your order was delivered. If you receive your order and find that you would like to exchange it for another colour or size you are welcome to stop by our Oslo store to exchange there. If however that is not possible this can also be done by sending us your cap and we can exchange and send it back to you by DHL/Post.
Please note we only offer exchanges if the cap is in impeccable condition and has not been used. For exchanges done by post/shipping the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, both when sending the product to us but also for the shipping costs associated with resending the package after the exchange back to the customer.

We only use personal information as provided to us by you which is necessary for us to fulfil our obligations to you. Information will not be given to a third party or used for other purposes without your permission.
